Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories are of attending the play school and watching her mom do her job. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as just a child. In 1997, she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. After she had converted to Judaism the couple were married again in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she was ready to return to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) as one of their most favored television couples. Entertainment Television.
